At Galerie MLS, each piece is carefully selected for its unique character, craftsmanship, and individuality. Many of our objects are one-of-a-kind, vintage, or rare, and cannot be replaced with an identical piece.

Shipping is arranged individually according to the destination, dimensions, weight, and specific requirements of each item. Please request a shipping quotation before completing your purchase.

Worldwide shipping inquiries are welcome. Alternatively, purchases may be collected directly from the gallery by prior arrangement.

We take great care in preparing and packaging each object for transport. However, due to the unique and sometimes fragile nature of our pieces, we strongly recommend appropriate shipping insurance.

In the unlikely event of damage or loss during transit, please contact us promptly with photographs of the item and its packaging so that we can assist with the necessary procedures. Liability for shipping-related damage or loss is subject to applicable law and the shipping arrangements agreed upon.

All purchases must be paid in full before being released for shipment or collection.

Handmade Lampshades

Our lampshades are individually handcrafted by skilled artisans in France and Switzerland using traditional techniques.

Due to their handmade nature, each lampshade is unique, with subtle variations that reflect the craftsmanship involved.

Should a lampshade become damaged or broken after delivery, through accidental damage or improper handling, a replacement may be commissioned where possible.

Please note that replacement lampshades are not included in the original purchase price and will be quoted separately, including any additional production and shipping costs, except where a replacement is required under applicable consumer protection law.

As each lampshade is made by hand, production requires time. Lead times will vary depending on the design, materials, and availability of our artisans.

Returns

Due to the unique, vintage, and often irreplaceable nature of our collection, all purchases are carefully considered, and we encourage clients to contact us with any questions before confirming an order.

Returns and cancellations are handled in accordance with applicable consumer protection laws, including statutory withdrawal rights where applicable.

Custom-made or personalized items may be exempt from withdrawal rights where permitted by law.

Collection & Storage

Purchases may be collected directly from the gallery by prior arrangement.

If you are unable to collect your purchase immediately, we are pleased to offer complimentary storage for up to 14 days.

For longer storage periods, please contact us in advance to discuss the available arrangements.
